Separation 40
It has been forty years since the separation of Singapore from Malaysia.

In addition to the annual fireworks, watch sparks fly as Singapore’s The Necessary Stage and Malaysia’s Dramalab come together to parade characters in Singapore and Malaysia over the past four decades.

Join in the fun as we present scenes that will crack you up:
- Friends in therapy
- Two strangers on a turbulent flight
- A mother and son torn apart during the Malaysia Cup
- A look at Singapore and Malaysia today —if we had never separated
- Saying goodbye in 1965

Separation 40 will be an intimate and humorous spotlight on people and situations in the context of Singapore and Malaysia, while confronting the what-ifs no one wants to ask or answer.
